Over the past couple of weeks, we have been looking into how to protect yourself from the sun. That being said, we know that slip ups happen, and sunburns are common.
The majority of sunburns hurt and are uncomfortable, and in many cases, you just have to wait them out to heal. But there are cases when sunburns are serious enough that you should seek medical treatment.
We recommend that you seek medical treatment if your sunburn is accompanied for one or more of the items listed below:
1. Fever
2. Vision Problems
3. Severe Pain
4. Blisters that become infected
Additionally, if you are on any medications that make you more sensitive to the sun and you get burnt, we suggest that you seek medical treatment to ensure proper care of your burn and prevention in the future.
