Influenza Activity: Overall, decrease

Influenza Like Illness Activity Level: High

Hospitalizations in SC: 2870 this season, 49 in the past week

Flu-Associated Deaths in SC: 109 this season, 6 this week

Coronavirus Illness (COVID-19) Tracking!

These CDC US reports includes all 50 states, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, and US Virgin Islands.

Nationwide there have been 85,356 reported cases and 1,246 reported deaths associated with COVID-19.

Dr. Nancy Messonnier, Director at the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases said in a CDC telebriefing on 3-4-2020: “States are reporting results quickly and in the event of a discrepancy between CDC and state case counts, the state case counts should always be considered more up to date.”
