We are excited to welcome Gerardo Santiago as MEDcare Urgent Care’s newest PA!
Gerardo might look a bit familiar because he has an incredible history with MEDcare. Six years ago he joined the MEDcare team as a Medical Technician & Scribe, over the years he was promoted to several different management positions until deciding to take the next step in his career by attending PA school!
Gerardo attended MUSC in Charleston for his Masters, and prior to that got his Undergraduate degree in Exercise Science at USC-Columbia and later on joined the SC National Guard.
When he isn’t treating patients at our Columbia centers, Gerardo enjoys hiking, playing tennis, working out, and spending time with his dog Chance and partner Dakota!
